Cat. No. : APOC3-361H
Description : APOC3inhibits the activation of lipoprotein lipase by Apo CII. Reduced levels of APOC3result in higher fatty acid uptake from plasma triglycerides into adiposetissue. Thus, APOC3 is a potential target for treatment of obesity andinsulin resistance. The normal plasma concentration of APOC3 is 8-15 mg per100 ml. Prepared from fresh, non-frozen plasma shown to be non reactive forHbsAG, anti-HCV, anti-HBc, and negative for anti-HIV 1 & 2 by FDAapproved tests. >95 percent pure by SDS-PAGE.
