Cat. No. : CKM-5306H
Description : The protein encodedby this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis and is animportant serum marker for myocardial infarction. The encoded proteinreversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and variousphosphogens such as creatine phosphate. It acts as a homodimer in striatedmuscle as well as in other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar brainisozyme in heart. The encoded protein is a member of the ATP:guanidophosphotransferase protein family.
Form : Liquid in 50%Glycerol + 50 mM Tris + 2 mM DTT, pH 7.5.
Source : Human skeletalmuscle
