• Description: CaM kinase II is a serine/threonine kinase that phosphorylates a wide variety of intracellular proteins. Reportedly involved in the modulation of neurite growth by cAMP. Lower levels of CaM kinase II a-subunit predispose neurons to ischemic damage.
