Description : The DNA-binding factor TFE-3 contains adjacent helix-loop-helix (HLH) and leucine zipper (LZ) domains flanked by an upstream basic region. TFE-3 is ubiquitously expressed and can directly associates with DNA as either homodimers or heterodimers formed with two related proteins, TFEB or TFEC. TFE-3 binds to and activates the microE3 motif of the immunoglobulin heavy-chain enhancer to induce B-cell specific gene transcription and DNA recombination.
Formulation : Recombinant Human TFE-3 protein at 100µg/ml in 50mM Tris-Acetate, pH7.5, 1mM EDTA and 20% Glycerol.
Application And Suggested Dilutions : ELISA, Inhibition Assays, Western Blotting.
Characterization : On SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel, the purified recombinant protein shows a band at 43 kDa.
Storage & Stability : Store vial at -20°Cto -80°C. When stored at the recommended temperature, this protein is stable for 12 months.
