Description : SP1 belongs to the family of zinc finger DNA binding proteins in mammalian cells. This protein mediates transcriptional activity through specific DNA sequences that are found in a number of viral and cellular gene promoters. SP1 has been shown to associate with other mammalian gene coactivator proteins to regulate gene transcription.
Formulation : 15 ug of recombinant SP1 protein in 5uM ZnSO4, 50 mM KCl, 2mM DTT, 12 mM HEPES-KOH (pH 7.5), 6 mM MgCl2, 0.1% NP40 and 50% glycerol.
Applications : Useful for the stimulation of LSD1 enzyme activity.
Storage : Store at -70º C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Pathways : Huntington"s disease; TGF-beta signaling pathway
