Protein Length : 265-471 a.a.
Description : Peripherin is a 57 kD type III intermediate filament that is a specific marker for peripheral neurons, including enteric ganglion cells. Peripherin is expressed in the developing peripheral nervous system and is highly enriched in neuronal derivatives of the neural crest. Peripherin offers an advantage over other neural markers, such as S100 and NSE in that it does not stain chrmaffin cell types.
Formulation : Recombinant Human Peripherin at 2µg/20µl in 50mM Tris-Acetate, pH7.5, 1mM EDTA and 20% Glycerol.
Application and suggested dilutions : •ELISA •Inhibition Assays •Western Blotting.
Characterization : On SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel, the purified recombinant protein shows a band at 51 kDa.
Storage & stability : Store vial at -20°Cto -80°C. When stored at the recommended temperature, this protein is stable for 12 months.
