ProteinLength : 125-383 a.a.
Description : Nephrosis 2 Idiopathic Steroid-Resistant (NPHS2) is a protein which has a role in the regulation of glomerular permeability, serving as a linker between the plasma membrane and the cytoskeleton. NPHS2 gene mutations cause steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome.
Form : NPHS2 was filtered (0.4µm) and lyophilized in 30mM acetate buffer and 1mM dithiothreitol, pH 4.
Molecular Mass : 30.2kDa
AA Sequence : MKHHHHHHASVKVVQEYERV IIFRLGHLLP GRAKGPGLFF FLPCLDTYHK VDLRLQTLEI PFHEIVTKDM FIMEIDAICY YRMENASLLL SSLAHVSKAV QFLVQTTMKR LLAHRSLTEI LLERKSIAQD AKVALDSVTC IWGIKVERIE IKDVRLPAGL QHSLAVEAEA QRQAKVRMIA AEAEKAASES LRMAAEILSG TPAAVQLRYL HTLQSLSTEK PSTVVLPLPF DLLNCLSSPS NRTQGSLPFP SPSKPVEPLN PKKKDSPML.
Purity : Purity as determined by densitometric image analysis is greater than 95%.
Storage : Store lyophilized protein at -20 centigrade. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4 centigrade for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4 centigrade.
Reconstitution : It is recommended to add 0.1M acetate buffer pH 4.0 to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. For conversion into higher pH value, we recommend intensive dilution by relevant buffer to a concentration of 10µg/ml. In higher concentrations the solubility of this antigen is limited. NPHS2 is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
