Cat. No. : IL4R-1238H
Description : HumanIL-4 exerts its biological effects via signaling through its receptor system,IL4R. There are two types of the IL4R complexes, the type I receptorconsisting of the IL4R alpha and the common gamma chain, yc and the type IIreceptor consisting of IL4R and the IL-13R alpha. The IL4R chain contains anextracellular domain of 207 amino acids, a transmembrane domain of 24 aminoacids, and an intracellular domain of 569 amino acids.
Source : A293 cells
Species : Human
Form : Lyophilized
Purity : Greater than 97% bySDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per ug(1EU/ug).
Biological Activity : The ED50was determined by its ability to inhibit the IL-4 dependent proliferation ofhuman TF-1 cells is < 5.0 ng/ml (in the presence of 0.5 ng/ml of IL-4),corresponding to a specific activity of > 2 x 105 units/mg.
Reconstitution : Werecommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentrationof 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueousbuffers and stored at 40°C for 1 week or -200°C forfuture use.
storage : Thelyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but beststored at -200°C. Reconstituted IL4R alpha should be storedin working aliquots at -200°C.
