• Description: TDGF1 is an extracellular, membrane-bound signaling protein that is involved in embryonic development and tumor growth. Mutations in TDGF1 are associated with forebrain defects TDGF1 takes part in the determination of the epiblastic cells that later provide growth to the mesoderm.
