• Description: This locus encodes a member of the nuclear, non-histone high mobility group protein family. This architectural transcription factor binds to A-T rich DNA sequences and participates in enhanceosome formation, chromatin remodeling and regulation of transcription. This protein functions in many cellular processes, including cell growth and differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.

• Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
• Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 centigrade for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 centigrade for 12 months.
• Reconstitution: Reconstitute in 10mM PBS (pH7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex.
