Description : Calr also known as calregulin, CRP55, CaBP3,calsequestrin-like protein, and endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 60(ERp60) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CALR gene. Calr is a multifunctional protein that binds Ca2+ ions (asecond messenger in signal transduction), rendering it inactive. The Ca2+ isbound with low affinity, but high capacity, and can be released on a signal(see inositol triphosphate). Calr is located in storage compartmentsassociated with the endoplasmic reticulum.
Form : Sterile filteredliquid in 50 mM Tris-Acetate, pH 7.5 + 1 mM EDTA + 20% glycerol.
Molecular Weight : 57 kDa
Concentration : 0.1 mg/ml
Endotoxin Level : < 0.1 ng/µg ofCALR
