• Description: Angiopoietins 3 (Ang-3) is a secretory protein and a ligands of Tie-2 receptor tyrosine kinase. Ang3 is most abundant in adrenal gland, placenta, thyroid gland, heart and small intestine. It inhibits endothelial cell proliferation and survival and blocks Ang-1.
• Molecular Weight: The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Mouse ANG-3 is Mr 58 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 85-90 kDa.
