Description : Thrombomodulin, CD141 or BDCA-3 is an integral membrane protein expressed on the surface of endothelial cells. In humans, thrombomodulin is encoded by the THBD gene. The protein has a molecular mass of 74kDa, and consists of a single chain with 5 distinct domains.
Molecular Mass : 68 kDa.
Presentation : Clear glass vial containing 10 μg of recombinant human thrombomodulin, lyophilized from a 100 μg/mL solution in 50 mM TRIS 0.1M NaCl pH 7.4, with 0.2M Mannitol added. Protein concentration determined using an extinction coefficient, ε1%, 280 nm = 0.88.
Storage : Add 100 μL of filtered deionized water to the vial. Store lyophilized protein at 2-8°C. Reconstituted protein should be aliquoted in plastic tubes and stored frozen at –20°C. Avoid freeze thaw cycles.
