Description : TAR DNA binding protein (TARDBP) Human was originally discovered in a screen for transcriptional repressors of the transactive response (TAR) DNA binding element of the HIV-1 virus. Contain two RNA-recognition motifs (RRM1 and RRM2), one of which partially overlaps with a putative nuclear export sequence. Mutations in TARDBP were identified in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients.
Molecular Mass : Observed MW: ~73 kDa.
Calculated MW: ~73 kDa.
Purity : The purity of TDP43 was determined to be > 90 % by densitometry.
Stability : One year at -70 centigrade from date of shipment.
Storage : Store product at -70 centigrade. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Concentration : 0.1 μg/μL
Storage Buffer : Recombinant protein stored in 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 25% glycerol.
Shipping : Dry ice
