Recombinant RNase 7 exhibited antimicrobial activity against uropathogens at low micromolar concentrations by disrupting the microbial membrane. Has broadspectrum antimicrobial activity against many pathogenic microorganisms and r emarkably potent activity against a vancomycin resistant Enterococcus faecium.
