Description : RapGAP, the GTPase activating protein of Rap, catalyzes the transition of Rap from GTP-bound to GDP-bound state by hydrolysis of GTP. Rap proteins are GTPases of the Ras superfamily of G proteins opposing the Ras activation pathway. RapGap-341 is a catalytic active fragment comprising 341 amino acids (residues 75 - 415) of wild type Rap1GAP. RapGAP-341 (R91A) retained more than 50% activity in comparison to RapGAP-341.MW = 39.5 kDa.
Purity : > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Form : Liquid. Supplied in PBS and 5 mM DTE.
Storage : Quality guaranteed for 12 months. Store at -80°C.Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
Usage : For in vitro use only.
