Description : The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex which is characterized by its ability to cleave peptides with Arg, Phe, Tyr, Leu, and Glu adjacent to the leaving group at neutral or slightly basic pH. The proteasome has an ATP-dependent proteolytic activity. This unit is responsible of the trypsin-like activity.
Form : 25mM Tris, pH8.0, 150 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol, 1 % Sarkosyl. Store at -80 centigrade. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Stable for at least 3 months from receipt of products under proper storage and handling conditions.
Molecular Mass : 30
Purity : > 80% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining
