Cat. No. : PGF-607H
Description : PGF is an angiogenic factor that belongs to the cysteine-knot superfamily of growth factors. PGF is expressed in placental tissues, colon and mammary carcinomas. It signals through the VEGFR-1/FLT1 receptor and stimulates endothelial cell proliferation and migration. Recombinant human PGF-1 is a 29.7 kDa disulfide-linked homodimeric protein of two 131 amino acid polypeptide chains.
Biological Activity : Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes of using a concentration range of 0.5-10 ng/ml.
Molecular Weight : 29.7 kDa
Source : E. coli
Species : Human
Form : Sterile filtered and lyophilized in a solution containing BSA.
Endotoxin Level : <0.1 ng/μg
Reconstitution : Reconstitute the protein in sterile 20 mM acetic acid to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 μg/μl. The solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffer.
Appearance : Lyophilized protein
Purity : ≥95% by SDS-PAGE and ≥95% by HPLC
Storage : The lyophilized protein is best-stored desiccated below 0°C. Reconstituted protein should be stored at working aliquots at -20°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HAS or BSA). Prevent freeze/thaw cycles.
