• Description: Neurotrophin-3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NTF3 gene. The protein encoded by this gene, NT-3 is a neurotrophic factor, in the NGF (Nerve Growth Factor)-family of neurotrophins. It is a protein growth factor which has activity on certain neurons of the peripheral and central nervous system; it helps to support the survival and differentiation of existing neurons, and encourages the growth and differentiation of new neurons and synapses.

• Formulation: Lyophilized 100 μg human NT-3 in 50 μl of TBS ( 20 mM Tris, 50mM NaCl, pH8.0 ). Carry free.
• Reconstitution: Add 500μl deionized water or TBS to the vial to prepare a working stock solution at 200 μg/mL. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4℃, mix well.
• Application: Cell biology, ELISA.
• Storage: Store lyophilized protein at -20℃ to-70℃. Lyophilized protein is stable for up to 6 months from date of receipt at - 20℃ to -70℃. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored at -20℃ for up to a few weeks or at -70℃ in a manual defrost freezer for long term storage (six months). Aliquot reconstituted protein to avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
