Species : Human
Tag : His
Protein Length : 87-235 a.a.
Description : The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of macrophages. The active form of the protein is found extracellularly as a disulfide-linked homodimer, and is thought to be produced by proteolytic cleavage of membrane-bound precursors. The encoded protein may be involved in development of the placenta. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Conjugation : HIS
Biological activity : Bioactivity:Bioactivity is assayed by measuring the dose dependent effect of Human MCSF on proliferation of M-NFS-60 cells. The ED50 for this batch is 5.16 ng/ml, according to this bioassay. Activity range is 4.13-6.19 ng/ml.
Form : Lyophilised:It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile phosphate-buffered saline to a concentration of no less than 100 μg/ml. For long term storage of the reconstituted solution it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% H
Purity : >95% by SDS-PAGE
Storage buffer : Preservative: NoneConstituents: 5mM Tris HCl, 80 mM Arginine, pH 8.0
Storage : Shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
