Species : Human
Source : Insect Cells
Tag : His
Protein Length : 1-473 a.a.
Description : Theprotein encoded by this gene is a member of the Serine/Threonine proteinkinase family. This kinase contains multiple functional domains. Its kinasedomain is highly similar to that of the myotonic dystrophy protein kinase(DMPK). This kinase also contains a Rac interactive binding (CRIB) domain, and has been shown to bind CDC42. It may function as a CDC42 downstreameffector mediating CDC42 induced peripheral actin formation, and promotingcytoskeletal reorganization. Multiple alternatively spliced transcriptvariants have been described, and the full-length nature of two of them hasbeen reported.
Form : Liquid in50 mM Tris, pH 7.5 + 150 mM NaCl + 0.5 mM EDTA + 0.02% Triton X-100 + 2 mMDTT + 50% glycerol.
Molecular Weight : 58.7 kDa
Purity : ≥ 90% asdetermined by a Coomassie blue-stained SDS-PAGE gel.
Specific Activity : 179 nmoleof phosphate transferred to S6 peptide substrate (AKRRRLSSLRA) per minute permg of total protein at 30°C. Activity determined at a final protein concentrationof 3.33 ug/ml.
Storage : Stablefor 6 months in working aliquots at -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
OfficialSymbol : CDC42BPA
