Description : CDC26,also known as ANAPC12, APC12, belongs to the CDC26 family which orchestrates progressionthrough mitosis by decorating cell-cycle regulators with ubiquitin chains. This protein is component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C),a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression throughmitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. The APC/C complex acts bymediating ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins.
