Description : | AMPD2 is important in purine metabolism by converting AMP to IMP. This protein, which acts as a homotetramer, is one of three AMP deaminases found in mammals. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Recombinant human AMPD2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
