• Description: FCGR2A is a single-pass type I membrane protein which contains two Ig-like C2-type domains. FCGR2A binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. It is a low affinity receptor. By binding to IgG, FCGR2A initiates cellular responses against pathogens and soluble antigens.
