Description : | The histamine H2-receptor is expressed in numerous cell types and couples to Gs-proteins to activate adenylyl cyclase. In this membrane system, cH2R couples to Sf9 insect cell Gs-proteins, allowing for the detection of histamine-stimulated adenylyl cyclase activity. cH2R was prepared from Sf9 cells infected with cH2R-encoding baculovirus.cH2R contains a N-terminal FLAG-tag and a C-terminal hexahistidine (His6)-tag for immunological detection, to allow purification and to provide additional protection against proteolysis. |
