• Description: Tissue factor is a cell-surface protein of endothelial cells and monocytes involved in coagulation and inflammation. It is the primary cellular initiator of coagulation cascade, and functions as receptor and cofactor for coagulation Factor VII and VIIa.From the rabbit gene using a T-7 cell expression system; purified predominantly to a 45 kD protein, comprising the extracellular and transmembrane domains of the native molecule, plus an amino terminal leader peptide sequence required for processing and purification.
• Usage: To make the material ready for use, the ampoules are opened by scoring with a file and manually breaking the top of the ampoules, and the material they contain reconstituted with 0.5 mL of sterile distilled water per ampoule. Cover the broken top of the ampoule with a small piece of parafilm, keep at room temperature until use and shake vigorously.The material must be used within four hours after reconstitution.
• Notes: The material should be handled with care and is for in-vitro use only.
• Storage: Upon arrival the ampoules shall be stored at -20 °C for no more than 12 months until use.
