Description : Protein Z alsoknown as PROZ is a protein which in humans is encoded by the PROZ gene.Protein Z is a member of the coagulation cascade, the group of blood proteinsthat leads to the formation of blood clots. It is vitamin K-dependent, andits functionality is therefore impaired in warfarin therapy. It is aglycoprotein.
