Cat. No. : | GGT1-5353H |
Description : | Theenzyme catalyzes the transfer of the GGT1 to a variety of amino acids anddipeptide acceptors. The enzyme is composed of a heavy chain and a lightchain, which are derived from a single precursor protein, and is present intissues involved in absorption and secretion. The GGT1 is useful in thedetection of liver disease, obstructive jaundice, cholangitis, infectioushepatitus, and cholecystitis. It can also be used to detect diseases of thekidney and to differentiate liver or bile duct (hepatobiliary) disorders frombone disease. |
