Species : | Human |
Source : | Human Plasma |
Tag : | Non |
Description : | This gene encodes apolipoprotein (apo-) A-II, which is the second most abundant protein of the high density lipoprotein particles. The protein is found in plasma as a monomer, homodimer, or heterodimer with apolipoprotein D. Defects in this gene may result in apolipoprotein A-II deficiency or hypercholesterolemia. |
Form : | Supplied as frozen liquid in 10mM NH4HC03 buffer, pH 7.4. Keep antigen concentration >1 mg/ml |
Molecular Mass : | 17.4 kDa |
Purity : | >95% pure by SDS PAGE |
Notes : | Small volumes of ApoA-II native protein may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice. |
Storage : | Aliquot and store at -70 deg C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles |
Warning : | This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. |
