Antigen Description : | TPMT (ThiopurineS-methyltransferase) is a very important enzyme for the metabolizm ofthiopurine compounds. TPMT pharmacogenetics has been studied extensivelybecause of its clinical significance. Many patients got benefited from theknowledge of TPMT genotype-phenotype correlation. Also, TPMT activityexhibits autosomal codominant genetic polymorphism, and patients inheritingTPMT-deficiency are at high risk of potentially fatal hematopoietic toxicity. |
Immunogen : | Recombinant humanTPMT (1-245aa) purified from E. coli. |
Host : | Mouse |
Isotype : | Mouse IgG1heavy chain and κ light chain. |
Application : | ELISA; WB |
Clone : | BU3F8 |
Description : | TPMT isan enzyme that methylates thiopurine compounds. The methyl donor isS-adenosyl-L-methionine, which is converted to S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine. |
Concentration : | 1 mg/ml |
Form : | Liquid.In Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) with 0.1% Sodium Azide. |
Usage : | Theantibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assurespecificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, eachinvestigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1000. |
Storage : | Can bestored at +4°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or -70°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles. |
