Antigen Description : PNPO (pyridoxamine5"-phosphate oxidase) is a 261 amino acid protein belonging to thepyridoxamine 5"-phosphate oxidase family. It is the rate-limiting enzyme invitamin B6 synthesis. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5-prime-phosphate or PLP) isvital for normal cellular function, and some cancer cells have notabledifferences in vitamin B6 metabolism compared to their normal counterparts.Vitamin B6 is a required co-factor for enzymes involved in both homocysteinemetabolism and synthesis of neurotransmitters such as catecholamine.
Immunogen : Recombinant humanPNPO (57-261aa) purified from E. coli.
Isotype : Mouse IgG1heavy chain and κ light chain.
Application : ELISA; WB
Clone : BU3D8
Description : PNPO isan enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PNPO gene.
Concentration : 1 mg/ml
Form : Liquid.In Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) with 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Usage : The antibodyhas been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity andreactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should betitrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution rangefor Western blot analysis is 1:500-1:5000. Recommended starting dilution is1:1000.
Storage : Can bestored at +4°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or -70°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
