The L-Glu product is measured by fluorescence after its derivatization by ortho-phthaldialdehyde. The specific activity is >300 pmol/min/μg, as measured under the described conditions.
• Molecular Mass: This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.The protein has a calculated MW of 81.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 95-110 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
