Tag : | Fc |
Protein Length : | 32-241 a.a. |
Description : | Thefamily of junctional adhesion molecules (JAM), comprised of at least threemembers, are type I transmembrane receptors belonging to the immunoglobulin(Ig) superfamily. These proteins are localized in the tight junctions betweenendothelial cells or epithelial cells. Some family members are also found onblood leukocytes and platelets. Mouse Jam3cDNA predicts a 310 amino acid (aa) residue precursor protein with a putative31aa signal peptide, a 210 aa extracellular region containing two Ig domains,an 18 aa transmembrane domain and a 51 aa cytoplasmic domain containing a PDZ-bindingmotif and a PKC phosphorylation site. |
Form : | Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 μm filtered solution in Tris-Citrate and NaCl. |
N-terminalSequence : | Val32 |
MolecularWeight : | 50 kDa (monomer) |
Activity : | Measuredby its ability to inhibit the adhesion of J45.01 human acute T lymphoblasticleukemia cells on immobilized JAM-2 (VE-JAM)/Fc Chimera. The ED50 for thiseffect is typically 0.1-0.5 μg/mL in the presence of 1x105 cells/well.Each well was coated with 100 μL of a 0.2 μg/mL solution of rhJAM-2(VE-JAM)/Fc Chimera. |
Endotoxin Level : | <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
SDS-PAGE : | 64 kDa,reducing conditions. |
Purity : | >95%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain. |
Reconstitution : | 100 μg/mLin sterile PBS |
Storage : | Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to-70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. |
