Description : PPIL3, also known as peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 3, is a member of the cyclophilin family that catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of peptidylprolyl imide bonds in oligopeptides. It has been proposed to act either as catalysts or as molecular chaperones in protein-folding events.

Bio-activity : Specific activity is >280 nmoles/min/mg, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that cleaves 1umole of suc-AAFP-pNA per minute at 25C in Tris-Hcl pH8.0 using chymotrypsin.
Molecular Mass : 20.3 kDa (181aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF.
