Bio-activity :	Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of Neuro-2A mouse neuroblastoma cells.When 5 x 10^4 cells/well are added to recombinant human NCAM-1 coated plates, cell adhesion is enhanced in a dose dependent manner after 1 hour incubation at 37 °C. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.5 - 3 µg/mL. Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
