• Description: Urokinase (UK) is a serine protease, which is one of biological plasminogen activators.
  It is involved in a number of biological functions including fibrinolysis, embryogenesis, cell migration, tissue remodeling, ovulation, and wound healing. It can be obtained from human urine or kidney cell culture.
• Form: The Urokinase was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution containing phosphate buffer.

• Purity: Greater than 94.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

• Storage: Lyophilized Urokinase although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 centigrade. Upon reconstitution Urokinase should be stored at 4 centigrade between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 centigrade.

• Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Urokinase in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
