Description : Pulmonary and activation-regulated chemokine (PARC)-1, which has also been identified as alternative macrophage activation-associated CC chemokine-1 (AMAC-1), Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-4 (MIP-4) and dendritic cell chemokine (DC-CK1), is a novel CC chemokine which shares 61% sequence homology with MIP-1 . PARC-1 cDNA encodes an 89 amino acid protein which contains a 20 amino acid signal peptide that is cleaved to generate the mature 69 amino acid protein lacking glycosylation sites. PARC-1 is highly expressed in lung and placenta but is not expressed in epidermal Langerhans cells.
Species : Human
Tag : Biotin
Form : Lyophilized
Bio-activity : Activity measured by ability of the protein to induce chemotaxis in T-lymphocytes. ED50 for this measurement is generally 0.5-2 μg/ml.
Applications : Activity Assay
Storage : Product should be stored at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid freeze/thaw cycles
Reconstitution : Recommended reconstitution in sterile phosphate buffered saline which contains at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin to prepare a stocksolution of no less than 20 μg/ml and vortex thoroughly.
