• Product Overview: Protein G is a Streptococcus cell wall protein, also known as Streptococcal Protein G(SPG), which can bind to all subtypes of human, mouse and rat IgG. It can also combine the total IgG of rabbit, sheep, cattle, cattle, horse, pig and other species. Protein G (type 4) was genetically engineered to express 3 antibody-binding domains, and the serum albumin binding domains in natural protein G were removed. Protein G (type 4) also adds cysteine to the amino acid sequence, which can be directed by sulfhydryl group coupling, such as the use of maleimide activated microspheres for directional coupling, compared with other non-directed coupling methods, can minimize steric hindrance, and often can show several times the load.
