• Description: Recombinant salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch)/ trout (O.mykiss) insulin-like growth factor-I (rsIGF-I) is a 70 amino acid polypeptide. IGF-I stimulates growth and differentiation in most cell types. IGF-I mediates many of the anabolic properties of growth hormone.
• Molecular Weight: Theoretical: 7704 daltons. By Mass Spectrometry: 7719 daltons. Amino acid sequence and total amino acid analysis confirmed that the recombinant product is salmon/trout IGF-I.
• N-terminal Sequence Analysis Of Recombinant Product: 5 residues >95% single sequence.
• Purity: > 95% (as determined by HPLC and N-terminal sequence analysis).
• Appearance: White Powder.
