Description : |
This gene encodes a member of the matrix metalloproteinase family of extracellular matrix-degrading enzymes that are involved in tissue remodeling, wound repair, progression of atherosclerosis and tumor invasion. The encoded preproprotein undergoes proteolytic processing to generate a mature, zinc-dependent endopeptidase enzyme that degrades collagens of type IV, V and XI, and elastin. Mice lacking the encoded protein exhibit an abnormal pattern of skeletal growth plate vascularization and ossification, reduced keratinocyte hyperproliferation at all neoplastic stages, a decreased incidence of invasive tumors, and resistance to experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis. |
Form : |
Freeze-dried powder |
Molecular Mass : |
Predicted Molecular Mass: 22.2kDa; Accurate Molecular Mass: 22kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions. |
Endotoxin : |
<1.0EU per 1µg (determined by the LAL method) |

Isoelectric point is 5.7. |
Applications : |
SDS-PAGE; WB; ELISA; IP; CoIP; EMSA; Reporter Assays; Purification; Amine Reactive Labeling |
Stability : |
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. |

200ug/mL |
Storage buffer : |
20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl, pH8.0, containing 1mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 5% Trehalose and Proclin300. |
Reconstitution : |
Reconstitute in 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl (pH8.0) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex |
