Description : KDM4B or lysine (K)-specific demethylase 4B, which is also known as JMJD2B, contains a JmjN domain, a JmjC domain, a JD2H domain, 2 TUDOR domains, and a bipartite nuclear localization signal that overlaps the C-terminal part of the second TUDOR domain. KDM4B plays an essential role in human carcinogenesis through positive regulation of cyclin-dependent kinase 6. KDM4B functions as a co-factor of estrogen receptor in breast cancer proliferation and mammary gland development. KDM4B is regulated by both ER? and HIF-1?, drives breast cancer cell proliferation in normoxia and hypoxia, and epigenetically regulates the expression of cell cycle genes such as CCND1, CCNA1, and WEE1.
Form : Recombinant protein stored in 50mM Tis-HCl, pH 7.5, 50mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol.
Molecular Mass : ~125 kDa
Purity : >75% by densitometry
Applications : Western Blot
Storage : Store product at –70 centigrade. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Concentration : 0.1 μg/μl
