ProteinLength : 329 amino acids(residues 52-380)
Description : Potassium channels are present in most mammalian cells, where they participate in a wide range of physiologic responses. The protein encoded by this gene is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel. The encoded protein, which has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell, is controlled by G-proteins and may be involved in the regulation of insulin secretion by glucose. It associates with two other G-protein-activated potassium channels to form a heteromultimeric pore-forming complex.
Form : 20 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 150 mM KCl, 0.2% (w/v) DM ,20 mM DTT, and 1 mM EDTA
Molecular Mass : Predicts a molecular mass of 37KDa. As a result of transmembrane protein, it migrates approximately 33~40 KDa in SDS-PAGE under non-reducing conditions.
Purity : >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Storage : Can be stored at +4℃ short term. For long term storage, store at -20℃
Concentration : 0.54 mg/ml
