• Description: Fibroblast growth factor 21 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGF21 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities and are involved in a variety of biological processes including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion.
• Form: Filtered (0,4 μm) and lyophilized in 0.5 mg/mL in 20mM TRIS, 20mM NaCl, pH 7.5.

• Reconstitution: Add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5 mg/mL and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture. Add DTT (0.2 mM ) and NaCl (0.1-0.15 M) before freezing to prevent potential aggregation.
