Description : | TNFR1 belongs to the TNFR superfamily of transmembrane proteins, and is expressed in most cell types. Binding of either TNF-alpha or TNF-beta to TNFR1 initiates a signal transduction pathway that results in the activation of the transduction factor NFkB, whose target genes are involved in the regulation of inflammatory responses, and, in certain cells induce apoptosis. |
Availability : | Check availability. |
Isotype : | N/A. |
Purity : | Over 80% pure. Three bands are observed by SDS gel electrophoresis, however, a single band is observed after glycosidase treatment, indicating heterogeneity in the sugar portion of this glycoprotein. |
Formulation : | 10 mM Hepes, pH 7.0. Concentration: 1.0 mg protein/ml. |
Biological Activity : | Binding of the ligand TNF was demonstrated by receptor binding competition of binding with radioactive TNF. |
Stability : | At least 2 months at -80°C. |
Storage : | Store at -80°C. |
