Description : | Troponin I, cardiac muscle is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TNNI3 gene. Troponin I (TnI) is one of 3 subunits that form the troponin complex of the thin filaments of striated muscle; see also TNNI1. The others are troponin T and troponin C. |
Source : | Escherichia Coli. |
Physical Appearance : | Sterile Filtered colorless liquid formulation. |
Formulation : | 3.53 mg/ml solution containing 6M Urea 50mM Tris PH 8. |
Purity : | Greater than 98.0% as determined by both: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE. |
Dimers And Aggregates : | Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. |
Endotoxin : | Endotoxin is less than 0.1 ng/µg of rHuTNC. |
Protein Content : | Protein quantitation was carried out by using 0.25 - 5.0 mg/ml Bradford assay vs. BSA. |
Stability : | Lyophilized rHuTNI although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution rHuTNI should be stored at 4°Cbetween 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
