Protein Length : | Asn40~Glu153 |
Description : | The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor contributes to the clonal expansion, survival, and development of T cells. It can also induce proliferation in peripheral monocytes, enhance T cell apoptosis induced by TCR/CD3 triggered activation, and regulate CD28 co-stimulation to promote Th1 cell responses. The expression of this receptor is induced by lymphocyte activation. TRAF adaptor proteins have been shown to bind to this receptor and transduce the signals leading to activation of NF-kappaB. |
Form : | Freeze-dried powder |
Molecular Mass : | Predicted Molecular Mass: 13.6kDa; Accurate Molecular Mass: 16kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions. |
Purity : | >98% |
Characteristic : | Isoelectric point is 8.3. |
Applications : | Cell culture; Activity Assays; In vivo assays. |
Stability : | The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. |
Storage : | Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8°C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80°C for 12 months. |
Storage buffer : | 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl,pH8.0, containing 1mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0.01% sarcosyl, 5% Trehalose and Proclin300. |
Reconstitution : | Reconstitute in 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl (pH8.0) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex |
