Recombinant Human TEK Protein, Fc/His-tagged

Cat.No. : TEK-2054H
Product Overview : Recombinant Human Tie2/CD202b/TEK Protein is produced by HEK293 expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ala23-Lys745) of human Tie2/CD202b/TEK (Accession #NP_000450.2) fused with an Fc, 6×His tag at the C-terminus.

Description : The TEK receptor tyrosine kinase is expressed almost exclusively in endothelial cells in mice, rats, and humans. (TEK is closely related to the TIE receptor tyrosine kinase.) This receptor possesses a unique extracellular domain containing 2 immunoglobulin-like loops separated by 3 epidermal growth factor-like repeats that are connected to 3 fibronectin type III-like repeats. The ligand for the receptor is angiopoietin-1. TEK has also been suggested as a marker for nucleus pulposus progenitor cells, from the intervertebral disc, which upon activation by Angiopoietin-1 starts to multiply and differentiate. Defects in TEK are associated with inherited venous malformations; the TEK signaling pathway appears to be critical for endothelial cell-smooth muscle cell communication in venous morphogenesis.
Source : HEK293
Species : Human
Tag : His&Fc
Form : Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4, 5 % trehalose, 5 % mannitol.
Protein length : Ala23-Lys745
Endotoxin : < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Purity : > 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Stability : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Storage : Store it under sterile conditions at -20ºC~-70ºC. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4℃ before opening to recover the entire contents.
