Existing as multiple alternativelyspliced isoforms, SSU72 interacts with TFIIB, Rb and DNAM-1 and functions tocatalyze the dephosphorylation of target proteins, possibly playing a role inRNA processing and termination via dephosphorylation of Pol II.
