Description : Snail homolog 1, also known as SNAI1, is involved in the epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) and formation and maintenance of embryonic mesoderm. This protein binds to 3 E-boxes of the E-cadherin gene promoter and represses its transcription. Recombinant human SNAI1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli
