• Description: I2PP2A(b), also termed TAF-1a, inhibits protein phosphatase 2A potently with ki ~ 0.1 - 0.5 nM with myelin basic protein, histone H1 and other substrates but not with casein. It stimulates PP1 and regulates histone binding to DNA, transcriptional activity and chromatin condensation.
• Purity: > 90% by SDS-PAGE.
• Supplied: 250 ng in 50 ml 50 mM Tris-HCl pH 7.0 buffer containing 14 mM b-mercaptoethanol, 1 mM benzamidine, 0.1 mM phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride, 1 mM EDTA and 0.1% Brij-35 and 10% glycerol.
